Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers at which a number of issues of state life were considered.Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed on the work carried out to further improve the national legislation, was the first to take the floor at the meeting.As she informed, bills of Laws of Turkmenistan connected with protection of the rights, freedom and legitimate interests of the individual, state registration of the rights to real estate, legal support of joining of our country international documents are prepared as well as amendments and additions are made into a number of current legal acts.Besides it, interaction with the international structures and parliaments of foreign states consistently develops. In particular, the meeting with the delegation, which arrived with a visit in our country under the leadership of the Korean-Turkmen inter-parliamentary group of friendship, took place. Issues of expansion of mutual relations became the subject of discussion.Besides it, representatives of the Mejlis took part in meetings and seminars held by the United Nations Development Program and International Migration Organization together with profile state institutions of our country.Summing up the information, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on the significance of continuation of work to strengthen the national legislation framework and perfection of legal acts.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov reported on the course of preparation for the Investment forum of Turkmenistan.As he reported, according to the corresponding Resolution of the head of the state, the given event is planned to hold in Ashgabat in October of the current year. On the margins of the Investment forum and concurrent events, it is planned to consider issues of economic development and investment attraction of Turkmenistan, key areas of fuel, energy, and industrial complexes and development of reliable transport-communication systems.In addition, digital and green transformation for sustainable development, introduction of digital financial technologies, agro-business, stability of agricultural branch in the conditions of climate change and preservation of the environment will become main themes of discussion. It is also planned to organise exchange of opinions on development of trade, sphere of services and state-private partnership, areas of cooperation with authoritative financial structures and strategic vectors of diversification of economy.In this connection, for consideration of the head of the state, a relevant corresponding proposal was presented.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that in our country a fruitful work is implemented to attract foreign investments to the national economy and to promote international interaction in this area. Having approved the proposal to hold the Investment forum of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat in October of the current year, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions.Further, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet G.Agajanov reported on the activity of "Türkmengeologiýa" State Corporation.As he informed, with a view of rational use of minerals of the country, due measures are adopted to carry out prospecting activities according to the international practice in relation to rare minerals. At the same time, an effective cooperation is established with leading foreign companies that have a special significance in exploration of underground riches.In this connection, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet submitted a relevant proposal for consideration of the head of the state.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that in our country the productive activity is implanted to explore minerals and to use them rationally. Having approved the proposal prepared with a view of establishment of international cooperation in the field of search of underground riches, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to carry out necessary work.Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet T.Atahallyev reported on the state of affairs in the agricultural branch and course of seasonal campaigns in velayats.As he informed, at present, according to agro-technical standards, proper care of cotton fields is taken and interrow cultivation and watering in particular are carried out. Within the forthcoming harvest season, corresponding work is implemented to prepare harvesting combines, profile enterprises, points of reception and various machinery, which will be involved for crop transportation.For the well-organised conduction of the wheat sowing the ploughing and levelling of fields, which will be sown with crop, preparation of seed material, and agricultural machinery and repair of equipment are carried out.Along with it with a view of maintenance of appropriate care of cattle, increase in its livestock, in the cattle-breeding economies stocks of forages for animals are prepared.Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the importance of further complex development of agricultural branch, timely care of cotton, appropriate preparation of enterprises and corresponding motor transport for the cotton-picking season. The head of the state also instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to continue work on preparation of fields for the future wheat crop.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on the work carried out by the Ministry of Energy.As he reported, at present, proper measures are realized to promote capacities of enterprises of the Ministry, reliable maintenance of local consumers with electric power, introduction of modern technologies and equipment. It promotes the strengthening of energy power of Turkmenistan, export of certain volumes of the electric power and adjustment of new manufactures.Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that in our country, the electric power branch develops and its material and technical basis is strengthened effectively. In that regard, the head of the state instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the cabinet to continue work on maintenance of local consumers with electric power.Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on undertaken practical steps to prepare for retail trade in school goods.As he informed, corresponding work is carried out with a view of organisation of sale of the goods necessary for schoolchildren and students on the threshold of the new academic year. In shops, the population can get school accessories and various textile products.The Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet reported that in velayats, etraps and Ashgabat and Arkadag cities, it is proposed to begin retail trade in school goods from August 1.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that the work of mobile shops on the threshold of the new academic year should be organised on the basis of study of demand of the population for various kinds of school goods. Having approved the proposal to organise the joint training session in cycling in Ashgabat, the head of the state gave the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet a number of instructions.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs R.Meredov reported on priority positions of Turkmenistan at the next 81st session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization.As he marked, development of strategic cooperation with the United Nations acts among key areas of the foreign policy of our country. At present, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs conducts corresponding work with a view of preparation for the forthcoming session of the General Assembly.He informed that on the basis of the initiatives, which are put forward by the head of the state on the international and regional political platforms, priority positions of Turkmenistan at the 81st session of the General Assembly of the United Nations are prepared. This important document includes a number of important areas. Thus among key aspects are the strengthening of universal peace and security. In the given context, it was noticed that Turkmenistan considers the forthcoming session as an important stage in consolidation of efforts of the international community for strengthening of peace and stability.Throughout many years, our country within the United Nations and its structural divisions put forward important initiatives in this area. Among them, it is possible to name resolutions «Peace and trust», «Dialogue - a guarantee of peace», «The role and importance of the policy of neutrality in maintenance and strengthening of international peace, security and sustainable development process».At the forthcoming session of the General Assembly, Turkmenistan plans to carry out under the aegis of the United Nations interstate consultations on the preparation of the Strategy of universal peace based on principles of peace, security and preventive diplomacy.With a view of advancement of the complex approach to international peace and strengthening of security, our country acts as the supporter of strengthening of trust, dialogue and preventive diplomacy. In this area, Turkmenistan will suggest to declare the 2027-2037 Decade of dialogue and preventive diplomacy of the United Nations Organization.Along with it, our country will initiate creation of the Group of friends of multilateralism and sovereign equality of the states within the United Nations.With a view of practical realisation of the proposal of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on formation of the University of Peace and Neutrality, corresponding work with the United Nations and its structural divisions is conducted. As the next step in this area, consultations on creation of the Academic centre of peace, neutrality and preventive diplomacy will be carried out at the department of peace and neutrality of the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.Turkmenistan also initiates development of the International code on peaceful use of artificial intelligence in the international relations and diplomacy under the aegis of the United Nations. In the given context, it is planned to hold with United Nations support in Ashgabat the dialogue of the international experts concerning digital trust and responsible use of artificial intelligence.With a view of the further comprehensive support of the activity of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia, our country will offer for consideration of the General Assembly the next draft resolution «The role of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia».Cooperation in the field of sustainable development and transport sphere also have a special significance. Thanks to the initiatives, which were put forward by the President of the country, Turkmenistan becomes the leading centre of transport diplomacy of world level. Thereupon, at the initiative of the Turkmen party at the 80th session of the General Assembly, the Resolution « UN Decade on Sustainable Transport for 2026-2035 and the use in this regard of the international events scheduled for November 2024 », in which frameworks our state will continue work on creation of the Global atlas of sustainable transport connectivity as the universal analytical and information tool for monitoring realisation of the goals of the Decade was adopted.Our country will also continue active participation in practical realisation of the Avaza program of actions for 2024-2034 and the Avaz political declaration.At the same time, it will be offered to consider a possibility of creation of the International centre for sustainable trading logistics and customs cooperation in the territory of Turkmenistan under the aegis of the United Nations Organization.Besides it, our state will initiate creation of the trans-regional transport corridor connecting South and Central Asia with Europe through the Caspian sea under patronage of the United Nations.Among key areas of cooperation of Turkmenistan with the United Nations Organization and its specialised establishments - ecological safety, climate change and rational use of energy resources.Thereupon, our country will suggest to found the Ashgabat climatic dialogue - a new multilateral platform of cooperation for advancement of the initiatives connected with climate change and development of international partnership on an institutional basis.Besides it, Turkmenistan will initiate the strengthening of climatic stability of the regions, which experience difficulties because of drought and deficiency of water.With a view of fulfilment of positions of the Resolution «The key role of reliable and stable energy connectivity in sustainable development maintenance», consultations on preparation for the high-level forum «Stable energy for all» will be carried out.As one of the significant areas, development of humanitarian cooperation acts. Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedova, Turkmenistan gives particular attention to development of the dialogue of women and the youth. In that connection, the further development of the Dialogue of women of Central Asia and expansion of cooperation with the United Nations Peacebuilding Commission and "UN Women" within the agenda «Women, peace and security» will be provided.Besides it, work on increase of activity of the youth in the international relations and peace initiatives will proceed, and activity of the Dialogue of youth of Central Asia will be supported. Within the agenda «Youth, peace and security» our country plans to promote expansion of practical participation of representatives of the younger generation in international and regional initiatives.Among the basic areas, cooperation with the United Nations Organization in the field of international law was also named. At the initiative of the head of the state Turkmenistan consistently brings global offers on international law and its value, one of which is the announcement of 2028 as Year of international law. This initiative once again underlines the importance of the Charter of the United Nations and international norms regulating the relations between the states.Within the preparation for the Year of international law, it will be offered to hold the International forum devoted to interrelation of international law, disarmament, neutrality, preventive diplomacy and sustainable development in Turkmenistan.Our country will continue the vigorous activity as a member of UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) for 2026-2028, and also other structural divisions and the United Nations commissions.Along with it, the joint work on election of our country is held during the 81st session of the General Assembly of the United Nations Organization as non-permanent member of the Security Council of the United Nations for 2031-2032 and other elective bodies of the United Nations.As the Deputy-Chainman of the Cabinet, Minister of Foreign Affairs reported, at the General Assembly regular session is planned to send Priority positions of Turkmenistan to United Nations Organization Secretary, and to extend among United Nations member countries, to place the information on the content of the document in national and international mass-media.Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that Turkmenistan attaches a special significance to development of multilateral cooperation with the Community of the Nations, strengthening of universal peace and safety. С начала текущего года наша молодёжь, занимающаяся конным спортом, приняла участие в прошедших в Узбекистане, Азербайджане, Турции и других странах международных фестивалях, форумах, чемпионатах и конкурсах красоты, посвящённых ахалтекинским скакунам, и продемонстрировала высокий профессионализм.Наряду с этим подчёркивалось, что в Соединённых Штатах Америки, Китайской Народной Республике, Великобритании и Республике Татарстан (РФ) были организованы мероприятия, связанные с конями и искусством коневодства. Состоялись встречи с коневодами и специалистами. В нынешнем году Группа национальных конных игр «Galkynyş» достойно представила туркменское национальное конное искусство в Азербайджане и Турции.Успешно выступив в организованных в городе Казань (Республика Татарстан РФ) конноспортивных мероприятиях, знаменитые наездники удостоились первых мест. Как видите, в год коня в отношении наших ахалтекинских скакунов проделано много значимой работы, продолжил Председатель Халк Маслахаты, отметив, что в настоящее время также к проведению намечены важные мероприятия по случаю Дня независимости Туркменистана.Как подчёркивалось, в рамках подготовки к заседанию Халк Маслахаты Туркменистана, а также согласно таким базовым документам, как Программа «Возрождение новой эпохи могущественного государства: Национальная программа социально-экономического развития Туркменистана в 2022–2052 годах» и «Программа Президента Туркменистана социально-экономического развития страны в 2022–2028 годах», соответствующие руководители должны вести эффективную работу.Акцент также был сделан на необходимости анализировать предусмотренные к реализации в предстоящем году меры по поддержанию стабильности экономических показателей, развитию отраслей, вложению инвестиций в новые производства и дальнейшему повышению уровня жизни населения. Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which he summed up the work, executed for six months of the current year and considered the course of realisation of programs of social and economic development of the country and personnel issues. Reports of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet, a number of heads and khyakims of velayats were also heard.Representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, members of the State Security Council, khyakims of regions, Ashgabat and Arkadag cities, rectors of higher educational institutions, editors of newspapers, magazines and other heads were invited to the expanded meeting of the Government.Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet Kh.Geldimyradov, who reported on macroeconomic indicators of national economy for six months of the current year, was the first to take the floor at the meeting.As he reported, the rate of increase of GDP for the specified period made up 6,3 percent, including in the industrial complex 2,7 percent, construction - 6,7 percent, transport-communication sector - 10,4 percent, trade - 8,5 percent, agriculture - 2 percent and the sphere of services - 8,4 percent.As compared with the similar period of 2025 for the January-June period of the current year as a whole output was above for 10,4 percent. In branches of economy positive industrial indicators were reached.The volume of retail trade as compared with the corresponding period of the past year for six months increased by 10,1 percent, and foreign trade turnover - 7,5 percent.In the specified period in due time salaries, pensions, welfare payments and scholarships student were also completely financed.The volume of capital investments, made at the expense of all sources of financing, as compared with the similar period of the past year was more than 4,3 percent.The report on the work executed for the January-June period of 2026 within the implementation «Program of the President of Turkmenistan on social and economic development of the country for 2022-2028», including the course of construction of different projects also sounded.Then, Minister of Finance and Economy M.Astanagulov reported on fulfilment of the state budget, development indicators of capital investments and realisation of the national rural redevelopment program for the first half of the year.As he informed, as of July 1 of the current year, the revenues part of the main financial plan of the country was executed by 102,1 percent, and expenditures part - 97,4 percent.For the specified period, the revenues part of local budgets was executed by 103,8 percent, and expenditures part - 97,9 percent.For the January-June period of 2026, 92 meetings of the balance commissions, including 64 regional ones, in which results of financial and economic activity of the ministries and branch departments, and their subordinate establishments and enterprises were considered, were held.The volume of investments made at the expense of all sources of financing, directed to the development of national economy, as compared with the corresponding period of the past year, grew by 4,3 percent and in the ratio to GDP made up 16,5 percent. For erection of industrial projects 45,1 percent from the total amount of capital investments was directed and 54,9 percent – for constructions of social and cultural projects.He also reported on the work executed within the realisation of the national rural redevelopment program.Chairman of the State Statistics Committee D.Amanmuhammedov reported on plans for six months of the current year fulfilled by ministries and sectoral departments.As he informed, for the January-June period of 2026, in the industrial a sector steady growth was observed. So, extraction of natural gas made up 39 billion 147,2 million cubic metres, oil - 4 million 129,8 thousand tons. As compared with the similar period of 2025, the growth of manufacture of diesel fuel reached 0,7 percent, lubricant oils - 7,2 percent, oil bitumen - 39,9 percent, liquefied hydrocarbon gases - 64,5 percent, cement - 7,2 percent, confectionery - 6,9 percent, sausage production - 6,7 percent, dairy production - 4 percent, bakery products - 1,3 percent.Positive indicators were maintained in the transport-communication sector. Indicators of cargo transportation by all types of transport, which increased by 3,7 percent and passenger transportation - 2 percent, can serve as a clear acknowledgment for the fact. The volume of rendering of telecommunication service grew by 15,3 percent.In agriculture, for the January-June period of the current year, as compared with the corresponding period of 2025, grain manufacture grew by 11,6 percent, vegetable production - 12,8 percent, gourds - 3,3 percent, potato – 4,2 percent, milk – 0,3 percent.Good indicators for six months of this year were observed in the private sector of economy.The head of the State Committee also reported on adopted measures with a view of perfection of the sphere of statistics, exchange of experience in this sphere with the international organisations according to realities of the time.Then, chairman of the Central Bank T.Malikov reported on results of activity of banks of the country for the January-June period of 2026.As he reported, as compared with the corresponding date of the past year, as of July 1 of the current year, the volume of the credits, which were allocated by banks for development of economy, grew by 7,4 percent, private sector - 23,6 percent, physical persons - 24,5 percent.As of July 1 of 2026, volumes of the mortgage loans, which were allocated according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan to citizens for acquisition of real estate in Ashgabat and Arkadag cities and in velayats, increased by 17,6 percent.Having heard reports, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the necessity of continuation of the large-scale transformations, which are carried out in all spheres of national economy for further increase of social standards of living of people.It was pointed out that one should develop further the tax system to ensure the stability of the state budget and achieve timely and fully payment of taxes.One should strengthen the control over the rational and target use of budgetary funds, take necessary measures for maintenance of fulfilment of the revenues and expenditures parts of the state budget till the end of the current year, the head of Turkmenistan underlined and stated the significance of preparation of the state budget for the next year within established terms.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov also underlined that for maintenance of steady economic growth one should give particular attention to maintenance of the stable course of the national manat. At the same time, the necessity of consecutive growth of volumes of the investments made in economy, perfection of activity of banks, increase in kinds of digital services was marked. Along with it, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet was instructed to develop further cooperation with the international financial organisations.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet G.Agajanov reported on results of the work implemented for the January-June period of 2026 in oil and gas production, expansion of routes of their deliver to world markets.As he reported, in the specified period, the oil production plan was executed by State Concern "Türkmennebit" by 108,3 percent, by oil refining factories of the Concern the oil refining plan was fulfilled by 104,1 percent.The gasoline production plan was fulfilled by 116 percent, diesel fuel - 111,4 percent, polypropylene - 100 percent, lubricant oils - 119,4 percent, liquefied gas-118,5 percent, extraction of natural and accompanying gas - 107,6 percent.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov informed that he made a decision to release G.Garlyev from the post of chairman of "Türkmengeologiýa" State Corporation in connection with his transition to other post and to appoint B.Amanov to this post and release him from post of deputy chairman of the State Concern "Türkmengaz". In that connection, the head of Turkmenistan signed corresponding documents.Having expressed warm gratitude to the President of the country for the rendered high trust, B.Amanov assured that he will make his best efforts for successful fulfilment of goals facing the State Corporation and wished the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag sound health, longevity and successes in their activity for happy life of our people and prosperity of our fatherland.Then, addressing heads of the complex, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noticed that development of the oil and gas sector, diversification of export of natural gas to world markets act as priority plans. In this connection, am emphasis was made on the importance of successful fulfilment of target tasks for oil and natural gas production, ensuring of their saleable condition, continuations of effective development of «Galkynyş» gas deposit.The head of Turkmenistan also underlined that one should modernise and increase capacities of the enterprises of the complex consistently. At the same time, they were instructed to carry out exploration activities, to raise productivity of new hydrocarbon deposits, and produce non-polluting production.Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Annamammedov reported on results of the activity of the subordinate complex for the January-June period of 2026.As he informed, for the specified period, the production and work plan in the given sector was fulfilled by 127,9 percent.By the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the production and work plan was fulfilled by 104,5 percent, by the Ministry of Industry and Construction Production - 132,7 percent, by the Ministry of Energy - 106,2 percent.By the Ministry of Motor Roads, the work plan was executed by 110,2 percent, by "Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern - 114 percent and by khyakimlik of Ashgabat city - 127,4 percent.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused attention on the necessities of adoption of appropriate measures for full involvement of the enterprises of the construction and industrial complex, consecutive increase in the list and volume of goods, modernisation of manufactures, and construction of new enterprises.The head of the state also noted the importance to strengthen work on maintenance of uninterrupted functioning of chemical enterprises, reliable supply of internal and external consumers by electric power, reconstruction at the expense of the strengthening of the material and technical basis of the branch of motor roads and maintenance of their conformity to the world standards.The President of Turkmenistan also instructed the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet to hold under strict control the quality and commissioning of the projects to open by the end of the current year within established terms.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet N.Atagulyev reported on results of the work of the subordinate ministries and branch departments, and the private sector for the January-June period of this year.As he informed, for the considered period, by the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations, the rate of increase of goods turnover as compared with the similar period of the past year made up 108,8 percent.By the Ministry of Textile Industry, the rate of increase of production was fulfilled by 106,3 percent.The rate of increase of the received aggregate profits at the enterprises of State association «Türkmenhaly» reached 107,4 percent.For the accounting period, the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange held 146 exchange auctions, in which 15 thousand 377 contracts were registered.For the January-June period of 2026, the rate of increase of the executed work by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry made up 118,5 percent. For the specified period, 13 exhibitions and 5 conferences were held.By the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the rate of increase of manufacture of agricultural and food production was 109 percent, industrial goods - 110,3 percent.Having heard the report, the head of Turkmenistan emphasised the significance of conduction of productive work for full involvement of the industrial potential of the sphere of trade. As was marked, one should hold in the centre of constant attention issues of improvement of supply of home market and shops with food and other demanded production, maintenance of the quality of service for the population.One should take henceforth program measures for creation of new manufactures, growth of output and rendered services, the President of the country marked and stated the importance of wide use of possibilities of the private sector in this sphere.Along with it, the necessity of realisation of complex measures for improvement of the quality of textile products and use of international experience was underlined in organisation of trade of carpets and carpet production. Besides it, the Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet was given concrete commissions on further perfection of activity of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange and Chamber of Commerce and Industry and on introduction of high technologies of developed states for increase of export potential of the country.Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet B.Seyidova reported on results of the activity of the subordinate sphere for the January-June period of the current year.As she informed, in the specified period, on the occasion of the motto of 2026 «Independent neutral Turkmenistan - the homeland of purposeful winged horses», the glorious 35th anniversary of sacred independence of our fatherland, holidays and significant dates of the national calendar, the opening of social and cultural projects various events took place and results of creative competitions were summed up.In Balkan velayat, the Week of culture was organized.Thanks to the peaceful foreign policy of the President of Turkmenistan, various cultural actions of international value were also successfully held. In the capital, at high level the international exhibition and conference «Turkmentravel - 2026», Days of Opera of TURKSOY and Ashgabat and Arkadag cities - Days of culture of the Azerbaijan Republic took place.In Moscow (Russian Federation) Days of culture of Turkmenistan, and in Rome (Italy) - an archaeological exhibition «Ancient civilisations of Turkmenistan» were held.The group of national horse games «Galkynyş» and professional circus performers of our country successfully acted in the Azerbaijan Republic and the city of Istanbul (Turkiye).For all-round study of monuments of history and their popularisation among the youth, in the spring of the current year, at historical and cultural monuments the next stage of scientific researches and restoration works were carried out.Besides it, the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet reported on the activity of the Turkmen state publishing service, «Türkmenfilm» Association named after Oguz han and mass media.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov released A.Shamyradov from the post of minister of culture for serious shortcomings admitted in his work. To this post, the head of the state appointed G.Myradalyev with a trial period of 6 months and released him from the post of deputy minister of culture, and signed corresponding documents.Having expressed warm gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the rendered trust, G.Myradalyev assured that at the new post he will do his utmost and wished the head of the state and Hero-Arkadag sound health, longevity and successes in their activity for happy life of our people and prosperity of our fatherland.At the meeting, the head of the state noticed that he made a decision to release A.Khojaberdiyev from the post of editor-in-chief of the newspaper «Nesil» for serious shortcomings admitted in his work and to appoint to this post with a trial period of 6 months Kh. Shanazarov and signed corresponding documents.Then, addressing the Deputy-Chairwoman of the Cabinet, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out the necessity of strict control over the appropriate organisation of activity of establishments of the sphere of culture, and further conduction of purposeful work on fundamental study and popularisation of ancient heritage of people and literary values. The special accent was made on the significance of attraction of tourists to historical and cultural monuments.The head of the state also underlined that one should improve the activity of libraries and museums on the basis of international experience, to create new modern both substantial art and documentary films, effectively use capacities of Turkmen state publishing service.The President of the country also instructed her to prepare for the actions timed to the 35th anniversary of independence of our fatherland properly.Then, Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet B.Mammedov reported on results of activity of subordinate structures for the January-June period of the current year.As he informed, during the considered period, the improvement of the education system continued, advanced methods of teaching were widely applied. Schoolchildren and students won 992 medals at international subject and Internet Olympiads.For six months of the current year, the measures aimed at further development of the sphere of science, increase of efficiency of scientific research were taken. On the occasion of Day of science, the international scientific conference, and the ceremony of awarding of winners of the competition of scientific works among the youth took place.In the specified period, in treatment-and-prophylactic activity advanced methods of applied medicine were introduced. At the expense of funds of the Charity Fund for Providing Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov operations and treatment of sick children were carried out.Along with it, an effective work was implemented to develop physical training and sports. In the specified period, sportsmen of our country took part in the international competitions and won 415 various medals.During the meeting, the head of the state signed Orders on approval of the plan of admission of students into the higher and secondary professional educational institutions in 2026, on approval of structure of the State commission for admission into the higher and secondary professional educational institutions, and approval of the plan of admission into courses of the Academy of Public service under the President of Turkmenistan in the 2026-2027 educational year and wished big successes to the youth, aspiring to enter higher educational institutions.President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of appropriate preparation for the new academic year and timely conduction of repair work in educational institutions.This year new buildings of Turkmen state architecture and construction institute and Turkmen state teacher training institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi will be opened, the head of the state said and instructed to prepare properly for ceremonies of their commissioning into operation. He also instructed to continue perfection of activity of these higher educational institutions.In higher educational establishments of the country, one should admit talented, most worthy representatives of the younger generation and hold entrance examinations well organized and fairly and ensure control by the public, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined.Along with it, the head of the state marked the necessity of effective continuation of research activity, adoption of concrete measures on introduction of solutions developed by research institutes in branches of the economy. During the accounting period, political consultations of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with heads of foreign policy departments of the Austrian Republic, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the People’s Republic of China, Republic of Kazakhstan, and with the State Secretary of the United States of America took place.Along with it, for the January-June period of 2026 consultations of foreign policy departments of the Republic of India, Kingdom of Morocco, the Russian Federation, Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Zimbabwe, the Azerbaijan Republic, Republic of Uganda, Republic of Korea, Republic of Armenia, Byelorussia, Kingdom of Cambodia and Ukraine were held.Besides it, in the specified period, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan carried on negotiations with the Secretary General of the United Nations, the Chairman of the 80th session of the General Assembly of the United Nations, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Secretary General of International Maritime Organization and Executive Secretary of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.Consecutive steps were also taken to strengthen and expand diplomatic relations through Embassies that acts as one of the important areas of the foreign policy strategy of neutral Turkmenistan.For the January-June period of 2026, credentials from newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chad to our country, Republic of Indonesia, the Italian Republic, Republic of Korea, the Argentina Republic, the Arabian Republic of Egypt and Finland were accepted.At the same time, credentials were handed by Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Thailand, the United States of America and Ireland, and permanent representatives of Turkmenistan at the United Nations Organization, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and officially started their duties.Summing up the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pointed out that independent Turkmenistan, following the legal status of positive neutrality, realises the peace-loving policy of "open doors», based on principles of good neighbourhood and mutually beneficial cooperation. Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the meeting of the State Security Council to sum up the work of military and law enforcement bodies for six months of the current year. He also informed on the course of introduction of high technologies within the realisation of the Program of development of the given department and actions, held with a view of increase of professionalism of employees.Having heard the report, the head of Turkmenistan gave the Attorney General a number of the instructions connected with realisation of supervision of execution of laws and legal acts in all spheres and the activity for protection of interests of the state and society, the rights and freedoms of citizens.Then, Minster of Internal Affairs M.Khydyrov reported on results of the work realized for the January-June period of the current year, including the adopted practical steps to maintain the public order, observe rules of fire safety and prevent road and transport incidents.Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan pointed out the significance of maintenance of the law and order in the country, prevention of offences. The Minister of Internal Affairs was instructed to keep control over measures in the field of observance of traffic regulations, fire protection regulations and requirements in connection with the rise of temperature in the summertime.Chairman of the Supreme Court B.Khojamgulyev reported on the work implemented for six months of the current year with a view of solution of goals, defined in the corresponding Program of development. In this connection, the Minister was instructed to hold full conformity of adopted regulatory legal acts with laws in force under constant control.Chairman of the State Customs Service M.Khudaykuliyev reported on results of the activity carried out in the subordinate department for the first half of the year and realised measures on optimisation of customs procedures at the expense of introduction of high technologies, and fulfilment of instructions given earlier by the head of Turkmenistan.Having heard the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov marked that one should keep control over observance of corresponding rules at customs points, introduction of advanced experience and modern methods of work in this sphere. In this connection, concrete instructions were given to the head of department.Chairman of the State Migration Service A.Sazakov reported on adopted measures from the beginning of the year with a view of implementation of the Program of development of the given service, the strengthening of the material and technical basis of structural divisions and increase of professionalism of employees.Having heard the report, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country noted the necessity of control over observance of migration legislation and quality maintenance of rendered services and gave the head of the Service a number of instructions.Addressing participants of the meeting, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov underlined that, according to the Military doctrine of Turkmenistan, which has especially a defensive character, the complex measures aimed at maintenance of security and territorial integrity of our independent, permanently neutral fatherland, the strengthening of its defensibility, improvement of social living conditions of defenders of our fatherland and members of their families are taken at high level.
